My Ride: 2007 525i (not LCI) - Alpine white, M sport package, Comfort seats, Logic 7, Bluetooth, Xenon adaptive headlights, PDC, sunroof, A/C with extended features, etc.
hey guys,
im thinking of changing my exhaust tips to either 3" or 3.5" magnaflows and possibly going for the quad (m-tech) - unsure about mufflers. i've seen the mtech quads with 3.5" tips but wasn't able to locate any 3"ers...if any of you have m-tech or m-tech quads with 3" tips, please post your pics. comparing the 3.5" against the M5 stock (which is 3"), im more inclined towards 3" as the the 3.5 looks a bit overwhelming. what do u guys think?
also help me choose between these 2 tips.

Definitely go with the 3.5" tips. 3" tips will look too small on M-Tech rear.

for an mtech rear diffuser, def the 3.5". fills in the opening perfectly.
if you need a shop to do the work and have the tips you want, PM me and i'll help you out. i've helped several other members out get their custom quads.

The stock M5 is 3" and 3.5" may appear big for a conservative. I have 3" quads, but the boys in the west coast likes them at abou 3.5" each.
Go for 3.5
