So a little over a year ago when I was looking for a new 2010 E60 I found a 535xi with the M-tech kit and some other options but it was lacking Nav and Logic 7 stereo. So I ended up going with a standard xi sport package without the M-tech kit but it had everything else I wanted, including the aforementioned options above. Today I ordered an OEM m-tech kit - its shipping to the body shop that does all the work for my local BMW dealer, thus beginning the longest 2-3 week wait of my life

Sometime next week I'll drop off the RDsport roof and trunk spoilers for them to install as well. I can't wait!!!

I'm debating on the rear diffuser - platinum gray metallic to match my car, or go with black instead. Considering a CF diffuser as well. Thoughts?

Congrats! Can't wait for some pictures. I would keep the diffuser the same color as the car. Some say black, but at night just seems like there is a big hole.

LOL. This made me laugh. I have a rep kit and I chose to paint it matte black (on alpine white car). I too have thought it looks odd at night and looks like a big hole. I still prefer it black though. Especially if you have other mods that match (matte black grills, B&W roundels etc).

Black!

OEM M-tech comes with 18mm PDC holes? Trinity has the 18mm LCI rear bumpers now.

I picked up my car last night and everything looks pretty good. The RDSport trunk spoiler doesn't sit completely flat on 1 side - when I press on it there is maybe 1/16" movement. I suspect this to be that the installer pulled the tape too soon for the 20 degree weather we're having. No biggie - I can address this with them during the week. I can't believe how much different the car looks now - like falling in love all over again

The last pic has something white behind the grill at the very bottom - looks like some kind of tube or bar - anyone know what this is for? Can it be painted black?

I know everyone and their mother have the Mtech kit and now I know why Some pics below...
