Hello!

I am thinking of buying and installing the M tech Kit on my 04 530 Sport. But I have a few questions, so please help me out here:

1. What is the best place on-line to buy the kit (quad_m guy dont respond to emails)
2. How much should a body shop theoratically ask for this install?
3. Would you know anyone in Chicagoland area for this install?

Thanks!!

1. Quadm will reply - but it may take a while........ I got mine from BMW of Newport after quadm did not reply after several weeks.

2. I had BMW of Newport install it. Total for parts, painting and labor was $3,700. When completed it was perfect.

3. Can't help you in Chicago.

$3700 is insaneee!!

Tony is da man, best to go w/ him.. Paint matches perfectly!!!

To give you an idea on what to expect:

Parts = $1299 w/ BMW CCA (25% off discount) or Garry discount

Paint + install = $600-$700

$3700 is a lot man. At most, it should have run you $2500 with local paint and install.

I don't think Garry ships the M-tech kits. I believe you have to do local pick-up.

I paid $1900 painted Alpine White shipped from Tony, I had the Mtek front and skirts with a m5 Rear. And I installed it myself so saved all the money there

No, he ships it. I almost went with Garry. Shipping to NY was $125. Nice part is...no tax since I'm out of state.

That's hella cheap for paint and install. Almost too good to be true if you ask me.
