Hey everyone,

I am a complete newb so please excuse my ignorance. I have a 2009 535i w/ sport and premium package. I wanted to add a m-tech style carbon fiber diffuser and the m-tech front bumper on my car. I don't really need the side skirts. I wanted to buy the diffuser on ebay but I wasn't sure if it would fit on my car, which is completely stock. It said that it would fit over the old diffuser, which i don't think i have. do i need to have the 550i rear bumper to fit the diffuser on my car? pics of the diffuser are below.

please add any suggestions on where/where not to buy, best prices, etc.

Thanks

You need the m-tech rear bumper for that diffuser to fit, bro.

Look to umnitza.com for the kit. Those are replicas, but good quality.

There's also a member selling a front and side skirts in the classifieds on this forum right now, so you might wanna see that for the front - his is OEM (original BMW), so it'll be more $$ than a replica.

You might also wanna talk to some vendors on this forum about the kit, as they have experience painting and installing the replicas, as well as OEM. Trinity and Eurorev come to mind (they're in Cali, I think, too). Conversely, OEM you can have painted and installed at ANY body shop of your choice, bc they are, well, OEM.

1> You need the M-tech kit first
2> If you are 2009 535i in LCI version. Current M-tech kit not fit for you

+1 on what everyone said above.

Also, the pic you provided is a M-tech rear bumper with PDC. Not sure if you have that on yours. But its important to know when you order the m-tech kit/bumpers. Good luck!

PDC, Park Distance Control. If you have this option, then there are sensors that surround the front and rear bumpers of your car. vince.

Alright, so I have the lci model. As ricky1329 said, the current m-tech bumper won't fit. Will the back bumper still fit? According to umnitza.com, the rear bumper fits on all e60 models. Is this true? And where can I get an m-tech style bumper to fit my 2009? If possible, please paste a link. Thanks a lot
