Did you purchase the kit from them as well? I wonder if that's why they gave you a break on the price. VOB was over $2k for the install. That seems crazy!
Plus the guys at the VOB body shop are idiots - stay away from them!

I got my kit shipped from Gary and got a local paint shop to paint and install totaling about 3g's for everything. Paying over 4g's is too much, 2800 just for install is ridiculous.

I'm hoping to be getting a M-Tech kit soon, and have been looking for a good shop to do the install. I've tried two local body shops (gaithersburg, md) and neither will do the install (won't install aftermarket parts).

I was wondering if anyone on here in the MD, VA, DC area has any recommendations on a good shop.

Thanks
Call Dan's Auto Body in Frederick MD and ask for Brian Churchey. These guys will do an excellent job, they are Allstate Authorized Repair Shop. Here is the website:

I paid around $800 for paint and installation, VOB quoted me $2500

It'll take you about 30 minutes from Clarksburg but it's definitely worth the drive. By the way, were you at Germantown Indoor Swim Center on Monday 2/16?
