My Ride: Standard:
05 530i A36w/ Beige interior: DVD/mp3 player,
Exterior: M-Tech, Breyton trunk spoiler , AngeliBright, HID 6000K foglight, 6000K headlight bulb, 19" M Double Spoke 167, Michelin PS2 245/35/19, 275/30/19, Hartget rep splitter
Performance: Bilstein PSS9, GroppeM intake, Supersprint pipes, ECU remap, Brembo front-380mm, back-345mm
would love to join the GB becuase looks really awesome, but few concerns here:
1. after found out the cleanance will be 1 to 1.5 inch lower, make me think twice, since my car is lower to its limit and most of time will scratch the bottom of the front bumper when entering underground parking which is very common in Asia
2. also consider what's the shipping will cost as i am locating in Asia?
3. also worry the fitment of a replica
will post picture of my ride later on so you see what i am worrying about

2. We will have to check into the cost once the weight and packaging is determined but I wouldn't think it to be more than $50-$100 at the most.
3. The fitment is 99% perfect. Member 525iSE who is heading up this GB has it on his vehicle. Pictures on the first page of this thread.
Post pics of your ride but I think you will be fine. Many members have the Hamann Splitter and are dropped as low as possible and have little trouble.

1. Any Splitter will decrease clearance. You will just need to enter and exit at an extreme angle which will provide the extra clearance you need

@Everyone
Yup Mine is original, but while I was installing mine, there was another E60 installing replicas. Looks identical, I felt kinda stupid getting the original. But I can confrim with you guys that, when I saw that rep, it was good fitment, they didn't adjust it or anything, or maybe they did, but i didn't notice, but all I saw them do, was drill the holes and screwed it in, didn't heat it to twist or bend or anything.
@Cwest
The reps splitters does NOT come pre-drilled. So you'll have to drill it yourself anyways. So if you already had holes in your M-Tech bumper, just make sure you drill your new splitter at the same locations as your previous holes and you're set.
@Vet927
Shipping in asia will be a cheaper thats for sure. As for clearance, yes it does reduce ground clearance, for sure, the middle of the m-tech bumper more than that side, you'll just have to get used to it. LOL. I've already scraped the bottom of the splitter several times, but no damage, just scrapes on the bottom, which can't be seen, unless you lay down on the ground and actually look at the splitter from the bottom.

Update
I'm going back to the shop tomorrow (They owe me the lower grill covers for my m-tech). So I will ask all your questions. Please ask as much as possible, and I"ll ask for you guys. Take pics if they have it at the shop (usually store it at the warehouse). If you guys are interested, I"ll ask for the painted price. But personally, I don't recommend that you guys paint it here, quality is not excellent (like some of us expect), and transportation might damage the paint.
Unpainted REPLICAS Hartge Splitter for M-Tech Group Buy $200 plus shipping (For legal reasons lets call it Hartge Style Splitters from now on. )
