The M-tech spoiler set was made for the pre-LCI version of the E6X. The electrical tow hitch is an extra for the LCI. So the M-tech spoiler was never designed for that tow hitch. Thats the reason for BMW to say no. Dont know if the hitch will clear the spoiler.

I would get the front bumper and sideskirts and keep the regular rear installed, especially since I think that one looks way better than the M rear which makes the E61 rear look cumbersome...
Just an idea...

Thanks for the info. Hadn't thought of that and now that you mention it, it makes sense.

I never knew that the tow hitch under my car wasn't available for pre-lci cars, makes sense why this isn't possible. Stupid, but sort of logical...
The dealer will do it for me, but it seems quite strange to me to remove the fully automatic tow hitch to replace for a regular detachable one and paying for every stage. Removing(?150), buying a new one which will fit (?645) New bumper holder which will be necessary for detachable (?320) and all this without m-tech bumpers, which needs so many bits and pieces because it's a pre lci bumper kit on a lci car that a total conversion is quoted me at ? 4500.- To expensive for my purpose...
In my opinion it looks a bit weird with full M-Tech without the rear bumper, I even think that the rear makes the biggest improvement so a partly upgrade is not my thing.
I think I will have to give up and drive this car for a couple of years with the thought that I drive a wild beast in a black tie suit. The fact that it is completely standard (except for 18" style 124 - and a bit lower due to sportpackage) suprises everybody every time in a sprint or spontanious drag race at the traffic lights :-)
Thanks 2 all for reply's!
