My Ride: 2005 525i : Alpine White, Steptronic, Black Interior with Amethyst Leather & Popular Grain Brown, 17" 122-Style Rims, Adaptive Bi-Xenon Headlights, Auto Dimming & Folding Mirrors, Advanced A/C, Sports Steering Wheel, Electrically Adjustable Steering Column, Extended Lighting Package, PDC, Sliding Armrest, Bus Navi, Hi-Fi Sound System (MP3 DVDs), CD Changer, Rear Sunshades.. MODS:M-tech front bumper, Painted Grill, Installed Aux-In, Garage Door Opener (Overhead Compartement), ///M Steering wheel, Wood hand brake trim, Wood gear-shift lever. 35% Tint all around.. Got, ACS Roof Spoiler, but not installed..

i am planning on buying the M-front bumper...but i am confused.
the Kit, and front bumper dont come with the fog light....
but i think the m-kit bumper looks a little bigger,,,can i keep the original foglights or will they need replacing....

If you buy the whole M Tech kit, it comes with new foglight assemblies. If you buy just the M Tech bumper, you'll have to also buy the foglight assemblies that fit the M Tech bumper. The stock foglight assemblies won't fit the M Tech bumper.

thanks for the reply...was afraid of that answer...but now i know....
took a qoute from the dealer today...the fogs alone cost around 270 $ here...and the bumper alone around 900$...i dont think that includes the paint and labour...

I'm sure you will get new fog lights with the M-tech aero kit. And the M-tech front & rear bumpers are the same size as the originals. Oops. Sorry, I re-read your post. You just want the front bumper not the whole kit. Yeah, EuroCarFan is right.

Oh, that's not good news. I was going to buy an MTech bumper that didn't have all the hardware kit. I think may just pass since looks like I would have to buy all the hardware and plus the MTech bumper seems to not fit the hood all the way. Quad_M has not weighed in on this issue either.

Does anyone know if the Dealer M Aero kit fits perfect?
