M-TECH FITMENT LCI ON PRE-LCI??????

WILL A LCI 2008 M-TECH KIT FIT ON MY 2005 525I?? I THINK IT WOULD BUT I WANT TO MAKE SURE? I TRIED LOOKING FOR THE ANSWER ON OLD THREADS BUT COULDN'T SEEM TO FIND IT.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
As I recall (Gene can certainly confirm) the LCI has different and more mounting points than pre-LCI so it makes it very difficult to fit to a non-LCI car.

then how come I've seen someone put an OEM LCI bumper on an pre-LCI? If that's possible how come an M-tech won't work?
I didn't say it won't work, I said it's a difficult fit. Since the mounting points for LCI are more and different locations you will definitely pay a lot more to have it fitted. That's all, like most things, it can be done but it'll cost you.

the lci does require some extra mounting brackets...but this q regarding lci to pre lci has come up before with no definitive answer AFAIK...
