no,

M5 bumper is wider needs M5 wider fenders to fit easily, without M5 fenders the front bumper will be hard unless you are going to a good body shop

M5 rear bumper has Quad opening for Quad Exhausts but good news is it fits directly on to your car without any mods. and it is very much different from M tech rear bumper...do some search you will find tons of pics and info...

Yes the BMW OEM e60 M5 rear for quad pipes bumper bolts up just like the stock one did, but YES you will need new M5 fenders for the BMW OEM e60 M5 front Bumper because it is wider. (Now their are some members that have used the wider M5 front bumper with the stock fenders, but I did not go that route because I am not that gifted and talented modifying our e60s as some of these e60 members, I wished I was!!)

I hope this helps, and Good luck with you M5 front bumper!! (also Garry at BMW Newport has the best BMW OEM parts prices for us e60 members)

About front bumpers... They look similar, but the M5 has bigger holes in the front, a bigger grill in the center and it is 1/2 inch lower .
It's not true you cannot install the M5 front bumper without M5 fender... A good bodyshop can arrange the bumper to fit almost perfect

Thats a good question. The reason is I'm getting my car lowered next week and don't have a clue as to whether or not I'll have rubbing issues since Garry from Newport BMW suggested to me to get the M6 Off-set rims. I hope that doesn't screw me up when I try to lower.

So,

So, is the rear M5 fender wider than a stock E60??
