+1 ... $9K is nutso for an M-Tech Kit... you should be able to buy 3-piece forged wheels, tires, and M-tech Kit (maybe some other things) for $9K... spend your money wisely.. modding is an expensive hobby/habit...

You know, sadly you can never mention M-Tech kits in this forum anymore and not think about Quad M

Garry Romani of BMW of Newport Rhode Island charges $1250 US for the kit. That's not painted or installed though. You can also contact member, John@Eurorev for their pricing. $9000 is just nuts!
Do any of these guys ship to Canada?

I've been trying to get the same kit for an 08 535xi with PDC and i'm not having any luck getting anyone to ship to Canada.
I've been talking with a dealer in Winston Salem, NC (flowbmw, ED - met through another forum) and he quoted me the following:

51-11-7-896-592 SHOCK ABSORBER F 1 19.84 19.84

TOTAL U$2731.85

The kit is painted. Only problem is the dealership will not ship to Canada.
Does anyone know if this is a good deal?

The dealership here in Edmonton wants apx $6000 plus paint plus install.
The dealership also quoted me $2700 for a set of staggered Style 124 wheels that are $1220 at flowBMW.
If anyone knows where i can buy this stuff and have them shipped to Canada I'd be very grateful.

2008 BMW 535xi : Black Sapphire Metallic / Grey Leather Interior, Automatic Transmission, Premium, Sport, Cold Weather, Comfort Access, H.U.D., Navigation System, PDC, Rear Sunshade Package, Folding Rear Seats, Rear Side Impact Air Bags, iPod/USB Adapter, Sirius Satellite Radio.

PM John@EuroRev or detto for the front M-tech bumper and parts. They should be able to help you out. Check with Gary @ BMW Newport too (E60.net members get a 25% discount).

Hey I'm thinking of getting the M-tech bodykit but the BMW dealer is asking $7000 + paint and install, so it will cost around $9000 including tax. I knew it would be expensive to get it done at the dealer but didn't think it would be that much.
Anyways, I was wondering if any of you guys knew a place where I could get the kit for cheaper.
I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and my car's 08' white 535i.
ALso, is it hard to DIY the kit? I have no experience installing this kind of stuff.
The only thing I have installed in my life is the aluminum pedals.
Thanks guys
That price is just beyond ridiculous! It's bordering on insanity. Korea is also know for absurd pricing for cars and parts, but the M-Tech kit in Korea is less than half of the price you stated. Is there only one BMW dealer in Edmonton??? Definitely shop around and check out members of the forum like Trinity, Sonic, Garry at Newport BMW, and EuroREV... You'll definitely get much much better pricing. I doubt that the M-Tech install would be a DIY unless you have bodyshop experience. I've been told that there is a lot work involved in terms of PDC, bumper struts, etc... The kits do not come pre-painted so you would have to get the painting done too. Good luck on your search for the kit and enjoy your car. I wish the 535 was available in Korea!
