Thanks, hav'nt seen one yet. Do you like how it performs?
Yeah.
I love it. It works perfectly. The only thing I miss is the option to shut the sensor off. If you have ACC you are not ble to use CC. Having the option to switch it off would allow using of the regular CC.
Could be helpfull when there is a bug passing away on your sensor or a stone chip. When that happens you would just switch the sensor off and you would use the regular CC.
But the ACC itself is great. A funny feeling when it brakes down...

With this new sports package I am suprised no one mentioned how you can retain your fog lights while the new M5 doesn't have them
So if I order a MY2005 I can pick this as an option? howcome our dealers do not about this, from my understanding this was not an available option. I would really want this, but would they make it available for the 525i?
ACC is also available on 525's.
But since I'm here in Germany I can not comment on the US. Maybe it's different there.
But over here ACC can be ordered on all 5's.
And I think I read posts of US members who have ACC.
Sorry Iceman, I actually meant the M-Package option. They definitely offer ACC on all models here.

I am going to order a MY2005 and want this M-package option but the dealer is clueless? Is this only going to be available in Germany first then later here?

With my current VW I used to be so upset that the German Bora(Jetta) would have all kinds of option that we didn't have here, like OEM Navigation, OEM Xenons, All wheel Drive(4Motion). I was hoping that with BMW we would get the same options as the German models, but seems like VW the cool stuff is in Germany first than IF it comes here it will be at least a year later.

Peace

BMW just updated the car configurator a couple days ago on BMW.de .
They added colours and M options, like the rear spoiler, the steering wheel and an M aerodynamic package.
So I guess they are going to offer this M-package for MY05.

I have just received a pdf file from my dealer with some superb photos of a carbon black 545i with the M sport kit. I don't have any webspace but if someone here can post them I'll e-mail the pdf file to you if you send me your address.
