Guys,

The prices are correct. This is about the same price variation that BMW has charged for sport models in the past e.g. E39 and E46 models. Remember that this is the factory price for a brand new M sport model NOT a retrofit kit.

The stoff/leder option are the seats. Cloth and leather sport seats. I believe they are different than what has been offered on the E60 so far, however, they are probably similar to the seats offered on the M sport spacket for the other BMW models.

I think it's a very good price for what is offered.

What is the round orb in the lower grill area to the left of the radiator?
That's the radar sensor for the ACC.

So if I order a MY2005 I can pick this as an option? howcome our dealers do not about this, from my understanding this was not an available option. I would really want this, but would they make it available for the 525i?

Peace

ACC is also available on 525's.
But since I'm here in Germany I can not comment on the US. Maybe it's different there.
But over here ACC can be ordered on all 5's.
And I think I read posts of US members who have ACC.

I've been comparing the prices of the M sport packet against the current Geman pricelist. Here's what I came up with so far. Prices include 16% Mwst.

* Stoff/Leder seats 770
Sport seats 550
Sport steering wheel 90
* Sport Suspension 360
Anthracite roof liner 350
Shadow line 260

Total 2380

18" M wheels ????
aerodynamic package ????

The options with * beside them indicate they are special M options and not the same as currently offered ,so the true price is sure to be higher than what I have listed. Even if they were the same price, I can already see good value in this package. Based on what I have added up compared to the 535d package price of 3800 euro. The wheels and the aero package would cost about 1420 euro. That seems like a bargain for a package a little more unique.
