O...o... I think you bought the set from the wrong model year... should be pre-9/05... like http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=50200 but I'm sure Fred will chime in...

Hi Fred. It seems like your wiring harness can make the light on both shifting plate and M5 knob. If I use M5 shifting plate and M5 knob, do I still need modified wiring harness? When I removed the shifting plate, I saw three connectors and I'm not sure what are those two small connectors does. Would you let me know?

Fred, I'm seeing 2 versions on the standard auto shift trim: one with short shifter and another one which seems to be taller.
Which one do you ship ?

I think they're the same. Just the camera angle, but by looking at the pic below, I guess that the knob has not been stomped down as it should be.
