hey fred im looking for this wiring harness for the smg conversion. can you tell me exactly what i need and what is your price? i have a 2004 545i. i purchased a 2007 m5 steering wheel that is complet with everything: paddles, airbag, controls etc. what else do i need to buy? thanks i need this asap cause i love the way your conversion came out!!! excellent!!!

Hi Fred. It seems like your wiring harness can make the light on both shifting plate and M5 knob. If I use M5 shifting plate and M5 knob, do I still need modified wiring harness? When I removed the shifting plate, I saw three connectors and I'm not sure what are those two small connectors does. Would you let me know?

Fred, I'm seeing 2 versions on the standard auto shift trim: one with short shifter and another one which seems to be taller.
Which one do you ship ?

I think they're the same. Just the camera angle, but by looking at the pic below, I guess that the knob has not been stomped down as it should be.
