M mirrors - Half tinting, silver tint, for dark color E60s

I didn't liked to paint them for several reasons.
The most serious reason is the case that i didn't liked the look after the mod.
The second is that i had at first to primer it because of its clear acryl-plastic surface, and after 1-2 days to paint it.
I've used the following things to do the mod.
A piece of good quality (3M or similar) silver color self adhesive sign-making film.
A sprayer full of water with 4-5 drops of dishwashing liquid in.
A hot air flow gun or a hair-drier, with hot air selected when formating the film / warm air when drying the formated film on the cover with simultaneous pushing by fingers the water bubbles from center to the edges
An empty bucket.
A cutting knife.
Some adhesive tape.
Long nails to turn the film at the edges all around
It took me three hours and a half to finish.
All pictures by mobile.
Sorry again about my poor English education.
I'll let my English teacher go.
