Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me if there is a reputable BMW shop that installs the M-kit on E60s in the New York, New Jersey area. A few of the shops i checked has never installed one before and i definitely don't want to be the first experiment.

Thanks

Does anyone have an address for someone that does a good job in installing the M-Kit in Northern California - Bay Area.

Seems like that guy down in Santa Ana is the way to go to buy the entire kit for around $1280. Now I only have to figure out where I can get it painted and installed for a good price.

Ain't going with the $3700 which the dealer is asking for it, that's for sure.

Welcome to the forum CUD! I got my kit installed at CarLab in San Jose. www.carlabms.com. Paint and install was $1100. Darwin at CarLab has done several installs for the M Tech Kit. He also just installed my KW coilovers today. You can reach him at 650-641-0194. I've posted a pic of my car below (this was before the coilovers). Forum member Freed0m also found another installer for his kit but I don't know where and at what price. You might want to PM him.

Also, I'm organizing a Bay Area Meet in February. You should check out the 2nd Bay Area Meet thread under the Meet & Greet Discussion forum if you're interested.

Hey EuroCarFan,

thanks for the super quick reply. This helps me a lot. I am just curious where you bought the M-Kit. I currently have someone down in Santa Ana that sells it for around $1300 not including shipping and tax. I rather prefer if i could buy it locally. Do you know anyone in the bay area that sells it for a reasonable price?

Also thanks for the meeting invite. I will see if i can join. You guys rock and hey, nice looking car that you got there !!!!!

You are probably referring to Crevier BMW in Santa Ana. I called them also but I figured with tax and shipping, it would be well over $1500 so I asked Stevens Creek BMW to price match and they gave it to me for $1450, not including tax. I believe Concord BMW sells it for $1400 but Stevens Creek is a lot closer to me.

If you choose to use CarLab, tell Darwin, Tony referred you.

Good luck and hope to see you at the Meet.

Just purchased an M-Tech Kit from New Century BMW for $1280 + tax and shipping totaled $1405.00. They are shipping to my auto body shop who performed work on my cars previously. They are doing the paint and install for $1,000 total.

I found this as the lowest price (so far) from reading threads here specifically from ch7656 who received this price from Crevier BMW and his auto body shop in SoCal. Thanks e60.net and ch7656!
