I missed the //M badge that came from the factory on my 01 540 sport...so I replaced my wheel with the round airbag one and got the insert from the //M5. So I have the round airbag wheel with the titanium trim and the //M badge in the middle. I also missed the one on my manual shifter, so I got the ZHP knob that has it. The interior badging is/was/maybe part of the sport package outside the US.

Not a big fan of putting one on the AUTO transmission shifter, however. A torque converter is something an M car should never have, IMO.

I also would not put one on the trunk.

IMO there's nothing wrong with ///M badges as long as you don't put ///M5. In other parts of the world where BMWs are sold, most models come in M Sport packages. That's a neat mod bud!

thanks man, wheel the one on the steering wheel i think i'm going to take off and give to "calle6289". Put the one on the boot looks nice when you look at it in person so i might keep that one. Thanks for the feedback guys.

yeah the badge on the steetring wheel reminds me of the badges on the zhp and e39 sport package. I always loved it. but i think my steering wheel is not aggressive enough to play it off clean.

Where did you get the sport steering wheel and how much was it? I have been really wanting to replace the sport steering wheel from my 2006 550i (sport) because it's not much of a sport wheel; I want one that is smaller and fatter. Also, is it a plug and play operations?

Thanks
