I have a few other pictures, but they are not all E60 related. I will try to start a new thread and post the pics there when I have some time.

The tour of the Oxnard VDC was arranged by the local Los Angeles chapter of the BMWCCA (BMW Car Club of America). There were probably 200 to 250 of us there. They normally only work Monday through Friday, unless they are running behind schedule. However, they opened the place up on a Saturday with a reduced crew especially for the tour. They had the facility working at 30% of the normal pace, mostly just to show us how things work. They said that it would be too dangerous to run at full capacity with people runinig around in front of cars and all. It did cost $10 per person, but at the end of the tour they gave us a nice barbque lunch.

I assume that other chapters of the BMWCCA that are around other VDC's or the Spartanburg plant may also give such tours to CCA members.

Its hard to believe BMW will give you credit for the bumper as tis already been ON the car and they will not waste the time and money to try to squeeze it back onto the assembly line back in Germany...

I believe the price of the M-Kit is given as a exchange for you old parts. Just like how they do the John Cooper Works kit on the MINIs. you have to give up your old parts.

I agree with this. I have confirmed through two different dealers that the parts for the kit is only $1,012 with labor at the VPC of $1,449. With parts cost of only $1,000 (invoice not MSRP) surely they are giving an exchange on the old parts.

MSRP for the complete install equates to $3,285 if you have not seen my other posts regarding this. Both dealers agreed to order the kit at their invoice with no markup.
