Has anyone in California had the M aero kit installed at the VPC? If so, did they install a front license plate bracket (front license plates are required in CA, that's why I ask)? Is there any way to keep them from placing the bracket if they do?

Thanks for all of the expert advise...

PEACE

I dont think they install the bracket at the VDC. I was there for a tour with BMW CCA and none of the 5 series there with the M-Tech Kit had the front plate on. I think its up to the dealer after its delivered.

Doesnt look that good. But to be safe for my road trip to vegas I put it on and decided to just leave it on.

I rather have the Euro Front plate.

Or the best one yet... NO front plate...

What I was told by my sales guy at New Century BMW was that the dealerships put the front plates on not the VPC. Cause he said it was a good thing i told him early so he can tell the guys preparing the cars in the back not to put on a front plate.

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely follow up with the dealer on this.

Best Regards.

No front plate for me! I live in Washington state which also requires a front plate, and with 3 years of driving an e46 without a front plate, and 4 months of driving my 550 without a front plate, I have not had a problem yet. If stopped I am prepared to let them know that I have an appointment at the dealership to put it on. I will not tell them the appointment is for 2010 and I may not have this car then.
