Hey tiptronic, welcome to the forum! You should update your info so we know where you're from and what E60 model you have with what options thereby we can better help answer your questions.

I believe someone on this forum has installed the kit himself but I forgot who. The other thing is if we knew where you're from, we can probably recommend some good places for the install.

I am planning on doing my own install also - just because I am cheap. I figure it can not be too bad, but any tips would be much appreciated.

I just pulled the trigger on the M-aero kit myself. It's the only solution for resisting the urge of buying the new M5 (my wife won't go for it) My dealership ordered the parts today and said they will be installed in fews weeks to allow for arrival and painting. I was quoted about $2900 for kit/paint/install not including a 10% BMW CCA discount.

I am about to take the plunge. The going internet rate on the west coast is about $1300 for the kit. I have not checked into the price of painting or install (I may install myself).

There is a dealer out here selling them for $1280 all day. My dealer quoted me $1700, then I pushed him to match the deal and he came in with thier internet price of $1328.

You may be able to push them a little better on the price.
