I was previously running Alpine HID Angel Eyes in my 09 535i, and I switched to the LUX Led instead. After install, everything lit up perfectly fine but after driving a few minutes, I am getting an error that says "Left daytime running/parking lamp!" Does anyone know why I am getting this error and how to fix it?

Thanks

you can get the error coded out, if not contact marc @ lux i'm sure he'll assist you.

I did contact Lux and they basically offered me a refund. I'd rather not return them since I do like how they look. I guess I'll look into coding.

Thanks

i used to get those errors every once in a while for the first 2-3 months or so, then they stopped.

Well I contacted my coder and he said that he can definitely code out the error.

sounds like a bad relay/cancellor on the lux set...did , marc offer to send out a new one to see if that would remedy the error? You could code it out, but I think the bigger issue is that something isn't working with that lux unit..

This is a common error. I've seen many peopel talk about having it (for the E60 and not E9x). I get this error periodically as well with my left light. Sometimes it's weeks without it and sometimes it goes off like 4 times in a 30 minute drive. The error goes away pretty quick but it is annoying and seemingly quite random.

I had Lux H8 in the past and never ran into problems. I eventually coded away the errors so it may have come up. I have read of many others with E9x's having these issues from time to time. Try to just code away the errors. Lux H8 looks great in my eyes.
