Yup, I worded my reply wrong, Only the Angel eyes come on with DRL for the LCI e60's. and the eyebrows will come on only when you turn on the light switch. Man... I wish I had an LCI.
do the retrofit!!!

P.S. Im curious. when do the eyebrow lights turn on? are they on 24/7? or do they turn on when the headlights turn on? I don't have the test car here so this is kinda a backwards way to go about it but i might need you guy's help for some small details.

Also your angel bulb... its on during the day and night correct?
I'd be glad to drive down anytime if you need to checkout an E60 in person.
I go to FIU, so it's only like 10-15 from campus.

well the mission has been completed.

Let me tell you guy that this is no easy feat, took me around 24 hrs and 3 days of battling it to get it done... I explained to Kyle the risks and the fact they are prototypes, so perfection is difficult to achieve on something so tedious like silicone sealed headlights but I'm glad he went thru with it though.

Im trying to devise a plan so they dont end up so rough at the seam (even though you cant see it from the outside of the car) but for now it is what it is considering.

I think this is basically the first time anyone has ever opened a silicone 5 series headlight, so without further blabbing I present you the first LED angel eye retrofit on a 5.

"disclaimer: LOL Kyles lenses weren't in good shape, they will be addressed and he will probably wet sand them and treat them again to try and get them 100% clear even though i recommend a professional job to be done on them so their crystal"

Here's some images of them finished before i shipped them out.

Can't wait to receive them! Should look even better with the eye brow lit up. I need to change out the amber turn signal bulb...does anyone know if the solaris is the best option? I don't want to bother with LEDs and would actually prefer an amber color to contrast with the bright LED angels.
As for the lenses...in case anyone is wondering, I wetsanded them and had them looking great, but then used a UV protectact from this kit: http://www.symtechcorp.net/productVi...rodID=75010100
Turns out it didn't agree with the plastic so DON'T use it! I am going to put break out the porter and hope I don't have to wetsand again...
