Sure I'll take a pic

And Ill take a look at it and give you a ring so we can chit chat about the eyebrow thing, but I'm sure it's a separate door or compartment on the black headlight housing correct?

Headlights should be here in the early afternoon, talk to you later
Yes sir, the eyebrow is seperate chamber / door from the headlight. I'm just worried that the glue/silicone will melt when u are trying to remove the original headlight. Unless u use some other method to take apart the headlight.

Luis,
Glad to see you joined the thread. Can't wait to see how it goes.
Nigxdoof, or anyone for that matter...any idea what it will look like without the reflector?

Well, I have Euroheadlights, so I'm not sure how it would I think it would look just like the LCI headlight, except you dont have those tubes in front like the LCI.

But it looks like the euro lights have something in place of the reflector...no?

Yup, but the LCI doesn't have anything there, doesn't seem like it. So it could just be clear. I say tell Luis to go ahead with it and remove that ugly ass amber reflector. If anything, if it looks nasty, get that euro sticker overlay and it'll fix it.

Ehh, i remember seeing a thread a while back about someone who removed the amber reflector.
Turned out it was black or something behind it (I think).

I'll have to search it up again.

Black is better than amber!

What about removing the amber reflector and sticking the euro sticker where the amber reflector used to be?

Im happy to say that so far so good, Its definitely the toughest headlight I've ever dealt with.. took me 4 hours just to get 1 open...LMAO I estimated and it's going to be 14 to 16 hour job confirmed. so for sure 2 days minimum, so I'm really thinking about how to justify it. Expect a 3 day turn around on my end though.

I charge 300 for non-silicone headlights in labor and that in itself isnt really justified, counting it takes me 8 to 10 hrs to pull those off but I gladly do it to help the community.

Either way, I can basically do whatever you guys like. I studied the amber corner and I can remove it and paint it silver, or black or whatever color and glue it back on... if I leave it off it you can view the chrome bowl of the corner behind it so it doesnt look too finished I think. I can see that i can also do the LED eyebrow retrofits after some more experimenting. so Id say angels and leds and ambers will be finally taken care off as long as the pricing is fair.

Lastly, I did figure out a way to leave the headlight as clean as humanly possible with an interesting technique that lets me pry the headlight without mangling the living daylights out of it which is what most people that have attempted, ended up with. The silicone is a serious mess...I can see why no one has wanted to tackle these.

there will be some mild scaring here and there on the black plastic around the the joint but let me tell ya, its going to come out beautiful, Im very exited to see the pair lit up with the angels.

Its most definitely worth the time and effort, It just has to make sense for me to take these on cuz its a 2 full day hit on my end.

Well cross that bridge when Im done, I'm taking it slow on these so I'll be hopefully done by Saturday day.

I'll keep you all posted.

P.S. Im curious. when do the eyebrow lights turn on? are they on 24/7? or do they turn on when the headlights turn on? I don't have the test car here so this is kinda a backwards way to go about it but i might need you guy's help for some small details.

Also your angel bulb... its on during the day and night correct?
