Alex,
Congrats on being the first non-M e60 with LSD!
Congrats on being the first non-M e60 with LSD!
There are 2 more thing, LSD apart, that I would like to highlight : the SMG became faster (in sport mode now it is rude* - when you are tired is unconfortable) and the car gained HPs at the wheels : imho the new part is more efficient than the stock and I feel clearly more HPs than before (I don't know how many they could be, but the only fact that I feel them means they are not only 2-3 hp) .
I thought it is too expensive 1700 EUR, but with these 2 things... It worth the money!
*
Now it upshifts decently in non-sport mode .

bravo Alex!
I'm sure you will be the next
Anyway, is a useful device for your safety on the road, because it clings at the road, on corners!

Lets see a clip on the street!!
Eheheheh!
Give me time, I'm not skilled about drifts etc. but I will try .
Search for "335i LSD" on youtube .. That 335i with quad exhaust was there in the Birds garage in London .
I have to find an open space...
Anyway, the second best thing is the consumption : 10% less fuel than before .
I don't know how it's possible, but from Oxford to Aachen (germany) I used only 60lt of fuel, for more than 600 kms .
And I didn't drive slow .
I filled up because I had only 7-8 litres, but I could continue for 80 kms more .
On next 17k EUR of petrol I will save 1700e (that is the price of the job) .

btw, on long distances I regularly get 600km+ on a tank - not sure how you calculated the 10% saving, did your gear ratio change ?

Good to hear Alex. I got your sms, but I was on duty - and saw it late ( no mobiles while on duty ) - it would have been a good opportunity to meet up..next time !
We will organize something when your friend will pick up his 335i

600+ ok, but 700+ driving driving not quiet on highway and some km of countryside in uk .. No
In Switzerland 12.5 kml . Ok, the limits are ridicolous (80, 100, 120 kmh), but 8l/100 km average is nice for a 545!

yeah, 8l is what I usually get on highways in Holland - Germany is always double figures !
My 545i does 8l at 105 kmh .
I was talking about 140-150 kmh with cruise control on (about the 10 kml, I mean)
