Choi000,
Will you be able to make it to the Meet this Saturday? We can discuss the various differential options available for our 545i. What do you say?

Yeah, at this point in time I'm not going to care too much about LSD. Just give me better gearing!
It's the same final drive ratio as what Dinan is offering on theirs. Dinan's 3.45 and OEM 645 3.46. The price of the 645 diff is about the same as Dinan's.
I might wait for the Dinan ECU remap to become available so that I can take my car to a Dinan authorized dealer to do both the diff and ECU at the same time. The Dinan remapped ECU software is supposed to be available next month, or so I have heard.

The 3.45-46 final drive ratio requires a new map ?

No, no. I want to "kill two birds with one stone." I'll do both mods at the same time to avoid having to take it in twice to the dealership.

Jiio, but with 3.45-46 the first gear will be too short, 56 kmh : every start wolud be a smoke fog, with LC .
But modify the gearbox, to modify only II gear, III gear and IV gear ?
I don't like the third gear of 180 kmh, for examples, and I would like to have the second gear a bit shorter (110 kmh instead of 115 like now) .
