Is it possible ?

I would change the final ratio but also have LSD .

Ideas ?

Yes, it's possible. It would have to be a custom differential though. And, from what I read from choi000, it'll cost US $3K. http://www.koalamotorsport.com/diffs.asp.

I believe Koala Motorsport can customize the differential to be limited slip, thus the $3K price tag. Dinan's differential is open slip and cost US $2K. No, LSD from Dinan so far.

I have $2K burning in my pocket right now for this mod.

In the end, I'm probably going to go with an open slip diff. Looks to be like Dinan's.

My Ride: 2004 545i 6spd, blk on blk, HRE 540R 20x9 in front and 20x10 in rear with Pirelli PZero Neros 245/25/20 front and 295/25/20 rear. H&R springs, and Eisenmann quad exhaust, V! radar detector, black grille, limo tint all around.

yep... if the m5 rear diff is not compatible with the 545i then I'm probably gonna go with Koala Motorsport's non-limited slip rear diff. It's cheaper than Dinan's and the gear ratio is 3.46 (Dinan's is 3.45). But i really hope that the M5 rear diff will be compatible with my car.
