a reputable BMW "specialist" will not quote and charge you for 8 hrs of labor. that's just plain ridiculous and highway robbery if you ask me. for any shop it's a 4 hr labor charge (my BMW specialist qouted me this) and i think this is what the dealer will charge you also. i did the install by myself and used a total of about eight hours. find another shop or, like others have said, save some dough and do it yourself. good luck
