I just recently purchased an 08 Cayenne for my wife...I have just ordered a set of 22" wheels and would like to have the car lowered...does anyone know anything about the BC coilover system? how would they compare to the KW V2 coilovers?

You should pm Michael (acuteperformance) he sells JIC cross coilovers which are a big deal with the porsche guys. But to answer your question no I don't know anythign about the BC coilovers.

thanks guys...I have the KW V2s on my E60 and im a huge fan but not sure I want to spend 3k on KWs for my wifes car...I was looking for a cheaper alternative and BC claims they have a great coilover system for just over 1k.

BC makes a very good coilover system

honestly man ive owned a lot of different coilovers, from Tein, Tanabe, GC, KW, H&R and now Im moving into NEX GT series coils

I think for what you are looking for BC would have a good solution. Honestly I would never buy KW again, not because it isnt good, its a great coil but for $1700 at the cheapest its not a bargain for the ride you get IMHO.

unless you are tracking or auto crossing, the BCs for your wifes car would be a nice choice and good quality

I've just recently found out that they make an application for the Cayenne as well. My wife has one and have searching for an alternative besides KW's and I really don't think springs will do the trick. Their price is amazing I must say but no one has them on the Cayenne - yet? From what I've heard, the system is pretty good itself but for a heavy ass truck - really not sure.

usually people are afraid to try something new and generally will bash it based on no actual experience with the product but rather through others that have tried and liked it

Like I said, for your application and probable needs for the porsche, they make a good coilover

+1

its all about expectations for price. As long as you expect it to give you a good drop and good ride and not perform any miracles youll be golden!

My KW's gave a nice drop and rebound but at a huge price and I never adjusted them after that. If KW's were $1200 or so then yeah, id buy them again but the return for what I paid wasnt very high

Make sure to give us a small review and post pictures
