Hey guys im sure you have got this post up a bit but I want to lower my 04 530i, wondering any advice on what springs to use and also any links to previous posts with this same question might help! Thanks!

 

I didnt even have to lower my car when i bought my 20inch wheels with extra size rubbers. And the rides perfect

 

While just springs are not recommended, if I were you I would do the Eibach simply because they would go better with the OEM struts than the H&R.

Well,
If your all in to do the struts and the springs --

Then --
If the streets you drive on are smooth with very few potholes, do the KoniSport + H&R

If the streets you drive on are not so smooth with few potholes, do the KoniSport + Eibach


If you have messed up streets and highway -- DONT DO ANYTHING

 

Depending on your budget the right way to go is full coilovers. But if u can t do that, and your doing springs. Defiantly upgrade your struts. Cause I have stock struts with springs and the ride isn't fun. I'm actually taking them off because I'm tired of the dropped look. I like the way the car sits stock. BTW I'm selling H&R springs if u want. PM me if you are interested.
