doesn't it just convince your car that you are applying more force to your pedal than you actually are? hence how you feel more "power" but your overall 0-60 times, etc stay the same? not hating, just want to understand it...

Its not quite that simple, the SB changes the response time. With my SB if I am parked and step on the gas pedal all the way to the floor and release right away the rev's come up quite a bit higher then if I do the same without the SB. Without the SB if you step to the floor and release very quickly your revs barely move because of the slower response time, by the time the car response you are already off the pedal so the revs don't move much. With the SB the rev's go up higher when doing this. If it were as simple as just stepping further down on your gas pedal to create the same affect there wouldn't be so many people out there willing to shell out the $300 to get a SB. Don't hate it till you've tried it.

Congrats to the OP on the SB

im waiting for mine in the mail so i cant respond with any personal experience. but ive heard these comments before, just stomp down on the pedal and it will perform the same, it doesnt increase horsepower...etc. but everyone that has it has reacts the same way once they install it...wow, love it, incredible, awesome.

i look at it like this.....if someone presented you with an offer to pay them a reasonable amount of money and in return every girl you banged would swear that you were the best and biggest ever and then tell all their friends to get with you too, would you pay the money even if you knew that youve actually changed nothing. i know i would...not that i have a problem satifying my women but you know what im getting at...ill let you guys know when i recieve mine in the mail and give a more detailed report.
