Hey all - looked back after parking the car today and it seems I lost the front right lower grille element

Anyone have an idea what the part number is? The cross-hatch appears to come in 3 parts. left, right and centre.

cheers

Shi

Hey Shiny where did you lose your grill man?

Did someone steal it or was it under heavy braking?

Should be a part no for another but if it was me I would go back to your dealer say it fell off and demand another. Don't take any sh*t from the profit making Bast*rds

I might be wrong here, but i dont think there are any corner inserts in the front grill, they are air scoops instead

see this link I borrowed from the Gallery section:

You're referring to the left and right air ducts that ventilate the front brakes. What Shiny lost is one of the covers that is right next to the air ducts. The one that he circled in his picture actually covers the distronic sensor used for cars equipped with active cruise control.

I think he might be circling an old pic, before the piece got lost. I have ACC on my car and I was supposed to try to see if it would work with that piece in place but I haven't checked yet. I assume it won't work cause it's blocking the sensor which means I'll have to remove mine.

If you look at this front section of the airdam, there are two air ducts on each side and then you'll see where the mesh part starts. The first sections of the mesh part on both ends, are actually solid cover pieces with the mesh raised ontop of them. These pieces are removable. Then the "real" mesh section starts, the middle section, where you can see through the actual mesh. I'm thinking that Shiny lost the left removable piece.

Of course, I might be wrong and maybe he is referring to the air ducts like you guys said...

Correct - that is an old pic BEFORE the piece was lost
