My Ride: 2004 545i - Bone stock... help!
I had to take the car to a site office and the asshole told me the road was good, but it was crap and bumpy as hell, which is when the glitches got really bad (I was living with the occasional reboot and weirdness for awhile) But now it's just really bad.
So, my CCC went blue so I start troubleshooting and replacing the CCC works, screen isn't blue but I get errors on encoding. I decided to go with a brand new CCC instead of second hand, got it going, programmed fine, on the way home it reboots, pull over restart the car, get a restraint error.. I turn the car around and head back to the garage, screen goes blue.
We've replaced the LVDS cable brand new, replaced the screen, replaced the CCC, last thing we're figuring is there is a gremlin in the loom.
My previous M-ASK unit had some problems, we replaced it with other M-ASK's and they had problems, which is why I upgraded to CCC but now the problems are back in a really nasty way.. so.. anyone have similar problems? Any advice? My mechanic's electrician is troubleshooting but it's been over a week now and at this point I'm wondering if there is some direction I can give them to help.
Thoughts?
