They gave me a price that was higher than the one I got from the UK vendor. But...
I contacted the Bilstein offices in the U.S. and was told that the B8 system will be available for Xi E60 in the U.S. in approximately 4 months. So far, the MSRP does not seem to be all that great, but I'd imagine there's a LOT of vendor mark-up in something like this, so I'm hoping to score a deal.

In the meantime, I had my indie test drive my car yesterday (was just bored lol) and he said I definitely need new struts/shocks, so this is going on the list of future mods FOR SURE now. I took it as good news LOL - that's what this forum does to me

And he looked at the wet oily spots on the engine and said it's most likely the sensor. And even though that was good news (no rebuild of the block needed), I took it as bad news - now I won't have a reason to rebuild engine for more HP/TQ
