M-tech on ebay

Was looking on ebay and I found this guy in california who is selling the kit for about $350 less than bekkers.com. For those of you who like the whole kit, this the cheapest I've seen. As for me and I think a few others, I'm going to wait until only the front bumper is available.

Stupid question from a novice.

Which is better.... to get a pre-painted kit, or to get a primed kit and have it painted?

 

I would go with primed and then have a local body shop that I know and trust do the paint work...that way you can be closer to the paint process and make there are not any quality control issues. I can only imagine the nightmare of having these pieces sent to you...you don't think the paint is up to snuff...and seller thinks it was fine when it shipped etc....

 

He's not from CA, he's from PA though. Hmm yeah seems cheaper than bekkers.com , but if he's selling in such a price, that shows he still do makes some profit. We shall wait till the prices drop lower.

I agree and if you look at some of the other items he is selling (wood gear shift knobs etc..) he's not not all that inexpensive. I can get 30%-35% off through a friend at a local dealer and I'm sure that will be less expensive that what we are seeing on E-Bay.

I think we should wait until the parts become available in the U.S. we can then get an interest list together with everyone that wants the piece(s)...and then price shop the parts and drive all our business to the retailer that is providing the best pricing. It'll kinda be like a group buy...combined with a bidding war (for lowest price)

 

Well.... it's cheaper than Bekkers.
