Hi all,

This is my first post to the forum having just entered the world of BMW ownership! Really pleased with new toy but wonder if stereo is upgradable as perhaps this is the only feature of the car I wouldn't mind changing/improving?

I have the bog standard UK spec car stereo.

Otherwise very impressed and can see from the forum that in general everyone is, and stays, enthusiastic about their cars!

 

Welcome. With enough money, any retro fit can be done. But, IMO, retro fittting usually is not cost effective. Maybe you could do something not OEM more cost effectively.

I agree with Znod, retrofitting logic 7 will cost you an arm and several legs and may still not be worth it in the end. Drive your car to a good Audio installation place and see what they can do for you with a few Kicker Subs and Tweaters.

Please do update your signature \ profile with your Location, and type of car and options, engine etc you have on your car.

 

Probably will be prohibitively expensive, will have to get it on the next one - in a few years time!! Anyone had any stereo enhancement added that wasn't BMW?

You have to add all info in your signature under profile option.
