So I wasn't 100% positive so I looked it up I do have adaptive headlights, will there more work required than just replacing the light module? The PDF I found online doesn't say anything about more wiring for vehicles with adaptive headlights, I just need a specific kind of LM2 module that supports it.

Just bought an LM2 module. Will be doing this mid this weekend. I've been reading conflicting responses as to where the old LCM module is located on the car. From what I can tell in the pdf online it's somewhere behind the steering wheel underneath, but I've also been told is behind the kick panel by the footrest. Does anyone know exactly where the light control module is located so that I'm not completely tearing the inside of my car apart?

On my 2006 E60, it's below the steering wheel and right at knee level (if you can understand that). There is just a panel that you unscrew and access the LM easily.
