Liberty Walk E60 has it ben done yet?
#21
So the Liberty Walk fender flare movement has been out for a while now and has been showcased on a number of e92 M3's. At first I wasn't sure what to think of it, but it's started growing onto me after having personally seen the cars done by LTMW at WekFest and a number of other recent shows I've attended. This is probably geared more toward the younger crowed, but I figure I throw this out there and maybe someone has seen or heard of an e60 being worked worked on in the past. I personally think it would look kinda cool, but until it's been put into reality I'm stuck to imagining how it will look in my head. If some of you guys have never heard of the Liberty Walk vehicles, I've attached a few of the M3's recently done and a photo of my car at the end just to try and envision the look. (down side is that I'd have to purchase wider wheels
..shucks )
Im not sure if this look will stand the test of time, so this may not become a reality as I don't plan on doing this mod anytime soon. If money wasn't an issue I'd pull the trigger cuz I like it right for the moment.

an old thread but this is actually something I was planning on doing, im focusing more modling an f30 lbw kit on to the e60 as it seemed like a nice fit. but up until today from what im aware of it seems the guys over an ranzmotorsports may have made this happen on an e60 I saw at bimmerfest. wondering if anyone else saw this or has details on the build.. was hoping to be the first lol

Yea, seen it. I'm not sure if the Fellas at Ranz are taking credit for it, but it's DINMANN's work for sure.

Doesn't look done right on the E60. The reason it stands out on the E90 is because it meets the bottom of the front bumper and everything. With that e60 it looks botched

Agreed.. Especially that rear quarter panel. Not liking how it just ends. For the price it costs, I would expect more.

It has been some-what done the cost of it is not worth it. I talked to Long about and it would cost around 12-15K he also said a shop down the street tried to do the same concept and the guy left a very large downpayment and the car was never completed after many years. When the guy brought it to long he would have to sink another couple of thousand into to fix everything

JR dont ruin your car with a silly bolt-on wide body bro. its such a nice car. aggressive yet elegant....19 year old kids are bolting fenders onto their hondas and BRZs....
if youre gonna do a widebody....my vote would be real metal fabrication like the Mfest Yellow M5 or Project Venom (in Alpine White) years ago....hell even the FastDad M5 by Joe looks great and still retains the lines of the M5
