Maybe the facelifted version will have LEDs. I'm just going to wait until Sept. production to see how they look like. The E46 coupe LED lamps are selling around $500 at dealerships. So I'd expect little more $ for the E60 if it ever became available.

It's the same senario BMW did with the e46s. They offered the LED brakelights in the last two years of its production life.
What other new features? TONS... LEDs should have been standard especially since older BMWs have them and then new ones dont... its like going backwards. Yes I knew why they didnt offer them. They were saving them for the face lift. LED tail lights are too simple and is expected to be standard... Kinda like automatic windows.
Other new features should include built in DVD player, DVD audio? reverse camera, self parking system. Theres a lot of stuff they can start trickling in down to 5.

LED tail lamps will be on the new E92.
E60 will get them at facelift fall '07!

Ah the NEW LS... but are you sure the 997tt is LED head lights? I think those are just blinkers and driving lights.
We can say the E60 has front LED driving lamps too. LOL the side eyebrows...
