I just came across on eBay there is LED tail lamps for E60 now. Has anyone tried it before? I think it's awesome but don't know how it works. eBay item # 280004173178

Knowing the region that produces these "knock-off" type of products, I am very suspicious about the quality control. It involves the electrical system, after all, and poof, the whole vehicle could just suddenly stop in its tracks. I suggest you wait until these lights are genuine OEM.

Also, you're not sure if it's capatible with the Brake Force Display (BFD).

Honestly... I would have liked them... Every Kia Rio on the road has LEDs and I hate explaining why BMW didnt put it on my 65K car.

What other new features would be available if BMW gave all the goodies at once? You know they well knew what they were doing when they didn't offer the LED brakelights when the e60s first appeared.

It's the same senario BMW did with the e46s. They offered the LED brakelights in the last two years of its production life.

I'm so tempted to buy them. I know a lot of e46 owners who bought LED lights from ebay and are happy. I just want to confirm the reverse lights.
