Someone said that it could fry up the whole light assembly.
If you follow the instructions I provided and cover all exposed wires you will be good.

It really is pretty basic wiring.

Video...

And this is what I have been working off and on on...

Functions the same as the one being advertised it is now a rod instead of 5 separate leds.

Have not worked on it for a while.

Still need to make it as bright as the rods on the lights though.

Can't tell they're even on in the second video...

I would say it looks surprisingly good -- if you don't have LCI tails. With LCI tails, I feel like it detracts from the look of the rods.

Yea the second video only had one side on it.

:l

Needs to be brighter.

You mess with led often... any idea what I can do to make the leds brighter?

Yea, you basically need to change those out entirely. Obviously the spec of those LEDs are not good enough for much visibility. I assume you're building your own board?

Yep...

Since I could not reuse the board or LEDs from the original LED reflectors, I had to make my own.

:l

Is there a specific LED I should use?

Looks great in video. I'm gonna install them. So, In video, its your custom LEDs? I read you bought it from taiwan seller off ebay?
A link would be great!

Well, it really boils down to how your design your board and circuit. The obvious choices are superfluxes, SMDs, and maybe PLCC2s if you want multi-LED look while still having good intensity.

None of this made sense to me.

:l

I just did as basic of a board as possible.

I will take a pic and post it later.

First video are the ones I bought from ebay. (5 dots)

:l

Second video are the ones I made (bar).

And really all of those led reflectors have the same manufacturer so there is no difference in quality only price... I'd go with the lowest since I can't find the guy I bought from originally.
