Installed the resistors on brabusw's plate led's and no more error messages! 2 dollars for the 2 pack, 10 second installation = no more errors. Worth it, that thing annoys me. Goto your local radio shack and buy them rather than getting them online. they have them in stock.

good to hear that everything was resolved. sorry i wasnt able to reply sooner. had been really busy.
BTW, if u do not have resistors and an error message comes on, just turn your headlight to another setting BESIDES off. If ur on auto, turn to on and vice versa and the message will go away. I get the message from time to time but it goes away in seconds.

the 2 dolla thing from radioshark. ]
or its idiot proof?
i do also get the led lights from brabusw209amg, got the error massage quite alot. bother me sometime, if theres a way to get rid of it then its good.

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
Why would anyone want to light the the rear licenses plate? 
But it's about the electrical resistance, the iDrive "reads" it from the electrical source,
changes will be shown as a malfunction.
