Default LED Cargo Lights

I bought some "9w Eagle Eye" LEDs from eBay (they are everywhere, just search) and installed them on the underside of my tailgate to function as both cargo lights and puddle lights.

I am happy with the results, the install was easy and the investment was small.
E60 owners can have similar results with mounting these on their trunk lid, I tapped mine into the red clearance light you see on my tailgate.

Cheers,
Evan

The LEDs, these were about $10 for 6

Nice job 👍
I've an E60, but I must have a look at the bootlid to see if there are any suitable opportunities to add these.

Good, then mission accomplished. I much prefer to have a car that is tailored to my needs and reflects my personal style.

Friends don't let friends drive stock

...even if that means we mod their car behind their back!

Here are some pics of the lights on with the tailgate shut for those of you who may install these directly into the cargo area.
