We know the LCI has those 4 little panels in leather and we who have MY2004, MY2005 etc. only stupid and recycled plastic .
And it wasn't acceptable having a 5er with that ugly plastic, so my bodyshop brought them to the best artisan of the city .
And I have to confess that the quality is EXCELLENT : it seems absolutely OEM .
I didn't plan to make the entire console too because I wasn't sure of the result and because, at the end, you don't see it .
And I chose to don't put seams on it because .. I don't know what I would decide to do today, but at the end it is a good job all the same .

It can seem the same as before, but you can feel the difference touching it .
Next leather project.. Now I'm asking an aestimation to make in leather those 3 upper parts (blue) of the door panels :

['pelle' means 'leather']
This is what happens when you see the CL550 interior

The plastic material of the door panel is even worst than the cheap plastic armrest .
I will keep you updated!
I asked about the M5 leather dashboard at my dealer : it is an individual part, it costs ?1400+VAT and you'd need to wait 40-50 days to have it .
I have to ask for the dashboard too
I bet you'll drive with one sleeve up from now
Yes, I will drive in Drive mode to caress the armrest

my brother once gave o teflon treatment to one of his car and it looked like something out of this world!
very, very, very, very and very shiny!

It should be something similar to this :
http://www.permagard.com.au/index.php?opti...8&Itemid=47
http://www.permagard.it/
But the nearest Permagard center is in France at 2-300 km from here.
I'm sure the bodyshop here will make an excellent job : they told me every year you have to do the treatment as Permagard told me by mail .
