so the 2 brake bulbs in each light aren't used with this mod? I'd like to see a side by side comparison with the original lighting. Also, these must be pretty dim in the daylight when braking.

I don't think there has been any pics taken side by side to compare. But trust me, it's bright. The rear fogs are lit up to 50-55w if I remember correctly, and the stock brake bulbs are only 23-25w.

And no, they are most definitely visible in the daylight.

I am so tempted to get the LCI setup with V6.1 cables now. This forum is once again dangerous as it makes me hate my Pre-LCI tails evan more. Haha. Looks sick!

well, the brakes dont seem as bright as normal. and how do they look from an angle. the person stopping from behind isnt always lined up straight.

Dude, just take our word for it. Otherwise just move along. The guy already said the capture is not reflective of how it looks, and I have affirmed it as well, what more you want?

If you can't accept what we say, then this mod isn't for you anyway.

hey Bruce! i'm interested in this mod. however, what concerns me is the extra wattage being used to make the rods brighter. how do you think they will hold up? in theory wouldn't it decrease the life of the leds?
