The red LED's appear pink (to me at least) in the clear part of the tail lamp. That's one reason I would prefer the amber signal LED's. And I think most people want amber to keep to the EU look. <shrugs>
I could see why people want the Euro look. Its weird hasn't all the US cars always had amber turn signals?

I have been behind a lot new E60's lately, for some reason I really like the red signals.

i noticed the red color led turn signal when flashing seems to blend with the rear light more.
the amber yellow color seems brighter...maybe because it stands out alot more.

Thats what I was thinking. Anyone know this for sure?

Update: I contacted Garry from BMWofNewport, he gave me a part number of: 63217180515. So the part numbers are different.

Bruce he couldn't believe someone made a plug and play cable.

With the discount of 25%, they come out to $200.25/each
Do you think he can get the Euro versions? I think the part numbers for the Euro versions with the amber turn signals are:

LEFT 63 21 7 177 281
RIGHT 63 21 7 177 282

Does anyone know Gary?
I'll give him a call later in the day if no one else does. I'm in for a group buy deal.

Would Gary lower the price even more for the group buy ? If not, there is no need to hold a group buy. Maybe, a group buy of Bruce latest cable if he can offer a lower price. Just a thought.
To be absolutely honest I can't offer any discount on my price no matter what quanitity at the moment. It takes me 5 times longer to do 5 together or a single order. The only discount I could offer is on the postage but then again I charge only ?5.50 for postage and shipping things out together may attract import tax as it'll be considered a bulk import.
One of the reason my wife wants me to stop this is its taking far too long to make each one and I hardly make any money on them.

Bruce,

Does this mean that you are not going to make the cable for us anymore ? I am pretty sure that many members here are going to buy your cable including me.
