LCI taillight upgrade

My Ride: 2007 Mercedes CLS63 AMG

I've been on the fence for quite a while trying to decide about switching over to LCI taillights and I finally took the plunge.
I ordered the V6 cables from Bruce on 11/24 and they arrived on 11/27....I have no idea how you can get a package from the UK to the US that fast, but he some how found a way to. Unbelievable. I ordered the LCI taillights (came in Hella boxes) from Ricky on 11/24 and they arrived today from Hong Kong....again, very fast shipping. The pics don't really do it justice.....crappy camera phone.
The first 3 pics are from before...the rest are after. The install was a breeze and no strobing/error codes whatsoever.

Once it was all said and done it ended up being about $850. Steep, but I'm hoping that this mod will tie me over for a while. I've spent so much time researching this so it's nice to finally have it done. Next mod will likely be an m-tech kit.

gotta LOVE that new LCI look. Let's get some license plate lamps to finish the rear end off! And it's also screaming for Trunk Finisher. Oh many the list goes on and on and on.
My gf was on the fence about it too! She said it looked like a radiator heated up. LOL. When she finally saw it on my car itself, she fell in love!
