Congrats Andy!
Did you do everything all at once or in steps? Waiting to see some pictures! ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
I havn't gotten mine installed yet. Lately, I have been very busy moving back and forth. A few months ago--checked with a couple dealers. The 1st dealer didn't want to do it due to my wire colors for the headlights being different than the LCI retrofit manual. Another dealer just plainly says it is not for my car. I thought it was bogus and the advisor didn't know anything about the retrofit since it was so new. I tried an independent shop but they dont' have actual OEM dealer specific to program the light module.
Does anyone know of a BMW dealer/independent shop in southern california that can do latest program coding?
And by the way, has anybody here in the states have attempted/done the LCI retrofit/conversion yet?

just a quick question guys.
i have a pre lci car built 12/2004 with halogen lights... Does anyone know if BMW released a retrofit kit from halogen to xenon lci ? I ordered lately the retrofit kit but only applies for cars with Bixenon or adaptive xenon. Is it possible to perform the retrofit on my car?

you need to buy xenon bulbs and ballasts and since its pre 2006 you need a light control module or something this should be enough for your car well I think ,

I already have the complete lci headlights and retrofit kit (light modules and cables), but applies only for cars after 03/2005.
all these variables of the BMW OEM solution, pre and post. I think ISHBU from Thailand has done the retrofit. He is having no problem and I think he has a early 2005 or 2004 530i

you will have to see the difference in procedure between the official halogen to bixenon adaptive and then to LCI. From a progman standpoint you might have to do both retrofit procedures...

Does the new LCI lights fit perfectly with the Pre-Lci cars? I've heard mixed stories, some say, some mods must be made to the car body, some say it fits fine but getting it to work properly is a problem. Anyone know a definite answer? BTW, I might be jumping back to an E60 if I can work things out financially, but going D this time.
