Are LCI and Pre-LCI Chrome Grilles the Same?

I recently bought a set of used chrome grilles off another member. They seem to be different than my LCI chrome grilles.
Besides the shape, they have more silver on them. My LCI chrome slats have a sliver of chrome and black on sides. The pre-LCI grilles have a sliver of chrome with silver on sides.
Can anyone confirm if they are different or the same? I'm unsure if the ones I bought are pre-LCI or what..
