A few questions:
Were the speakers a direct bolt-on as far as size and screw placement?
What's that thing that the speakers are wired to in the second picture? Some sort of crossover maybe?
What in the heck are your kids watching on that screen? My imagination is getting the best of me...

Dislike the sound quality of LCI Logic-7 as many members here had already discussed in the forum.

We need answers...
How did you remove the door panels and did you damage anything? Can you post some more photos? I see your watching a movie on the idrive, how did you accomplish that?
Where did you buy the speakers and how much were they?

Thanks for correcting it. I'm trying to answer questions in my plain english
a local car audio shop did this for me cuz I complained about the sound quality.
They have done the retrofit over 100 E60s, most cases are putting on GPS which we DO NOT have as an option here in Taiwan.
Thus I trust them to handle all the disassemble/assemble works.
They shared the same axis, medium and high inside the door panels, keep the tweeters in the A-pillars unchanged.
MB quart got the cross over (?) as part of their speakers, using jumpers to select the split point (?)
Can someone kindly translate it in tech. wording ?
Now I have 13 - 2(door) - 4(trunk) + 4(door) + 4(trunk) = 15 speakers.
The mechanic pick up the most close size of speakers to make the swap as simple as directly bolt on.
Yes, it's a MTV , odd picture I took
Speakers costs US$800 including labors.

I cannot find MB Quart RC210. Did you mean RCE 210? Did you replace tweeters, too?
Thanks for the answer.
Speaker configuration should be as follows:
1 of 4" midrange speaker in the middle of dashboard
2 of 4" midrange speakers for front doors
2 of 4" midrange speakers for rear doors
2 of 4" midrange speakers for reardash (trunk?)
2 tweeters for front doors
2 tweeters for reardash (trunk?)
2 subwoofers under front seats
====================
13 speakers
This website sells these speakers at decent price: $149 includes UPS shipping

There's a 745i with L7 to install the rear monitor as well that afternoon.
I got the chance to listen to its L7 ........
not even better than mine (before upgrade of course)
So I'm not very sure if it's the common baseline or the degraded L7 of LCI.
