I'm jealous now... you get to have the LCI light enhancements AND the pre-LCI M5 Trunk Finisher! (...sorry, had to let that moan out )

Good work mate, looking good
ah Pete, don't feel bad mate - you know you could replace the WHOLE rear trunk piece for the pre LCI one and then you can add the the finisher !

Congratulations, Andy.
I understand it was a long, tiresome and expensive expereince but I think the result for you outweights the rest.

Wow Andy it looks stunning! I love it. So please once again:

1] Where to buy them?

2] What is a good price?

3] Will they fit on pre-LCI 2005 April build?

Nah it's not expensive at all. All you need is new taillights and a cable set.

Read http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=51553

But I wouldn't hold on to hopes here.

My guess for a starter it is close to EUR 3000 (all in- including reprogramming)

Hi Andy,

we make a retrofit for the following car: 2004 / 06 with adaptive headlight.
All funktion work perfect (incl. adaptive headlights), only the cornering lights no funktion.

Your car is before 2005/03 ? And with adaptive headlights ?

Thanks Janos

there is only one - I got it for 280euros.

rootkit, yeah - I remember you had some trouble with that and was also concerned. The pdf my installer used must have been up to date - everything was very straightfoward. Cut the old adapter away and thread through 11 wires to the appropriate pin hole according to the color code on the pdf. No fuss, right the first time.

The rear, at first the rears didn't work correctly and before chucking out the LM, we made a basic check of everything. During the check for loose connections, I saw that 2 wires did not correspond to the color on the car's wire loom - very basic mistake from BMW. They must have hundreds of those kits on the market.

Correct, Progman showed "conversion" during the coding. Nothing was specified with regards to age of my car apart from the requirement for a new LM.

Fred, sorry - don't have it - my installer had this (and it was in German anyway...).

I wonder if someone here could post it in English..
